Dictionary Game
This is a fun game that helps with dictionary skills! One player chooses an unusual word from the dictionary and reads it aloud. The other players respond by writing a definition for the word WITHOUT reading the real definition. Then, read the real definition aloud. This game can get funny!
Variation: Player 1 will call out an unusual word from the dictionary. The other players will write their own definition for the word on a slip of paper, while player 1 writes the real definition for the word. Player 1 collects all of the slips of paper and reads them aloud. The players must vote on which definition they think is the real dictionary definition. The person who chooses correctly earns a point! Take turns calling out words!
