Meet Mrs. Caporale...
Hello! Here's a bit of information about me...
I am beginning my fifth year of teaching and couldn't be more excited! I love Robinson Elementary and am proud to be part of such a wonderful school community! Teaching children is one of my greatest passions and a call that the Lord has placed on my life. I feel truly blessed to be a part of my students' lives to help them learn and grow.
I began my teaching career in August of 2012 as a third grade teacher at Chattahoochee Christian School in Clermont, GA. I graduated from Truett-McConnell University in Cleveland, GA where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education with a reading endorsement. I am also certified in Special Education and recently obtained my gifted certification. I completed my student teaching in White County my junior year and spent my senior year at Fair Street IB World School in Gainesville, working with fourth grade and second grade students. I was very excited when I was asked to be a Robinson Elementary Tiger and continue my teaching career in August 2013. I spent my first two years at RES teaching kindergarten before I moved to second grade.
My husband, Matt, our sweet boys, Elijah and Ezra, and I live in Dawsonville with our precious "boxer boy", Kavu. Matt is the general manager at a local outdoor store and is also studying world missions. He also leads a community group in our home for our church. We enjoy traveling, camping, hiking, mountain biking, and visiting with friends and family!
In our classroom, we learn together, grow together, and succeed together. We will be working on building life-long skills like teamwork, responsibility, cooperation, and creativity. Each child has his or her own strengths and weaknesses. We will work together to encourage each others' strengths and improve weaknesses while striving to have an honorable character. My goal is to create an exciting, nurturing environment that helps the students become life-long learners.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Caporale
